Set in a peaceful and relaxing location with beautiful views, yet only a short 5 minute journey by car to the beaches, shops, restaurants, dive schools, golf course and attractions of Puerto del Carmen and the beautiful marina of Puerto Calero. Villa Illiana gives you the best of both worlds from it’s elevated position in the Canarian village of La Asomada, overlooking the town of Puerto del Carmen and down to the sea. For your peace of mind and to help you with your packing, the villa has been equipped for those of you traveling with babies and toddlers in mind.
The perfect villa and location for people that want the best of both worlds… La Asomada is a rural setting, ensuring total tranquility and peace. There is a small local supermarket within walking distance and a short drive down the hill, the local ‘sociadad’ where the locals meet to enjoy laughter, tapas and good company (children are more than welcome here). Next door there is a petrol station with supermarket where freshly baked, hot, crunchy bread is available daily, even on Sundays…
Puerto del Carmen is a 6km drive down from La Asomada, you enter Puerto del Carmen in the Old Town. Here you will find beautiful beaches both large and small, an abundance of watersports, horseriding, restaurants, bars and nightclubs and the recently opened golf course.
For the children there are many activities to choose from, pedalos, wild west shows, mini golf, trampoline etc. The Aqua Park in Costa Teguise is a 20 minute drive away.
The exclusive Marina of Puerto Calero is 10 minutes away by car, here you will find restaurants & bars, spas to pamper, designer shops & sea excursions above and below the surface; a trip on a catamaran, an adventure on a submarine or a fishing trip; the choice is yours.
Villa Illiana is a ten minute drive from the airport and is very centrally located, with easy access to the whole island and everything it has to offer.
For those of you traveling with young children and babies, we offer many items completely free of charge (please see our pricing page for details) In the interior of the house, there are two steps down in to the lounge and one step in the hallway, the rest of the house is on one level. There are lockable doors and gates to prevent access to the pool area. The childrens have lots of videos, books, a selection of toys and games, buckets & spades, rubber rings and lilos for entertainment.
The Living Area
The light and airy lounge with its large picture window overlooking the pool area, has stylish comfortable sofas, authentic Indian and Indonesian furniture and has seating for eight people. It is equipped with SAT TV (Freeview), Video Player and CD player, free wireless internet access. Patio doors lead on to an open terrace and garden area with views of the surrounding countryside and sea.
Kitchen/Dining Area
The large kitchen/diner is equipped with a gas hob with wok burner, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle and coffee machine. Plenty of kitchen equipment is supplied so for those of you who still wish to cook a gourmet meal whilst on holiday, everything you need is at hand! The kitchen also leads, on to the open terrace which has table, chairs, parasol for al fresco dining.
Entrance Hall/Dining Area
The large entrance/dining area leads on to all the other rooms. Dining table and chairs seating eight people.

Master Bedroom (1)
King size bed made up with luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen.
En Suite Bathroom
Bathroom with roll top bath, large circular walk in shower, twin basins & WC. Hairdryer and bathrobes are supplied.
The ‘Moroccan Room’
King size bed made up with luxurious Egyptian cotton linen.

Full size bath with seperate shower, wash basin & WC. Hairdryer and bathrobes supplied.
Triple Bedroom
Three single beds, built in wardrobes. This bedroom has been decorated with children in mind. Lots of books and furry friends!!
Twin/Double Bedroom
This bedroom can either have two seperate single beds or the beds can be put together to make a comfortable Super King bed. Built-in wardrobes.
Shower Room
Large bathroom shared between the twin and twin/double bedroom. There is a corner shower, wash basic and WC.
Outside
The Pool Area
The solar heated pool is surrounded by mature gardens and offers sunbeds, table and chairs and there is also a daybed placed in a shady area, a perfect place to wind down at the end of the day and enjoy the beautiful sunsets that Lanzarote is famous for.
BBQ/Games Room
Located at the side of the pool area. There is a large built-in BBQ, a full size tale tennis table & darts board. There are also lots of items for the pool and beach. There is a small fridge so that you may enjoy cold drinks around the pool, washing machine, sink, and ample seating. This room is very popular with young children when they have had enough sun, they can play in here and still be next to the rest of the family that are still enjoying the sun around the pool.

Fantastic!!!!!! Such a lovely villa, a quite hillside location in a clean quaint little village of white houses sprinkled on black volcanic rock, 5 minutes drive from Puerto Del Carmen. Lives up to the photos at www.lanzahomes.com and then some. Our little boy loves the pool and table tennis table. Very child friendly, all the extras that make it just that bit more special —-lots of big fluffy towels, a welcome pack of food and wine, toys and books. Lovely patio surrounded by cacti and palm trees for sipping on your cerveza. Debi the host is so welcoming and helpful. If you want a gorgeous place to stay that feels off the beaten track but really isn’t, this is where to go. Haven’t even been here 2 days and felt I should write this, I’ve been so pleasantly surprised.

What a brilliant villa! We will be going back in March, already booked the villa again, was absolutely brilliant, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Debi and her staff were a great help, nothing was too much trouble for them. The pool and outside space was great even though private, the views all around the villa were second to none. Our ages range from young to retired and not one of us had any problems and when we go in March 2012 we will be booking again for November 2012. We have stayed in lots of Villas in Spain, Italy and France and Illiana was definitely the most homely, best equipped and spacious. Great directions on how to find the property as well, no about turns or swearing at a useless map which made a nice change! When we booked Villa Illiana our only concern was being away from the resorts and having to drive everywhere. In fact we are really pleased we stayed in La Asomada as it was a great base, really close to the airport (but with zero aircraft noise) with good local shops and restaurants close by and the furthest resort of Playa Blanca being no more than a 30 min drive away. The Villa itself was spacious, well equipped and with a lovely pool to take a dip in at the end of the day. The baby things provided along with things like beach towels, buckets, spades, jigsaws made packing an easier task with a two year old a five month old baby. It was a real help and bonus having a decent cot for Emily, an activity chair and spare travel cot to use as a playpen. Sophie loved the farm jigsaw (it had to be done first thing every morning!). It is very easy to see that this was once a proper home and not just a holiday let property. Absolutely superb villa with a lovely pool. Ideally situated for the hustle and bustle of Puerto del Carmen yet feels like you’re off the beaten track to enjoy the peace. We were looked after really well and the food & wine left when we arrived was great. We can’t wait to go back!!! You have been so helpful especially with assisting with preparations for Vicky’s 30th birthday which without a doubt was such a success due to you all going out of your way to suggest and book the venue, arrange the cake to be at the restaurant and even take us on a tour to ensure we knew the route etc… Absolute dedication to your guests, we have never received such personal assistance. I would agree with your comments that we have felt like part of the family and looked after as such, which was replicated when our mothers joined for the last week of our holiday. One last word on Pepe, what an absolute delight, constantly made us laugh and couldn’t do enough to ensure we were comfortable. All in all a fabulous holiday, we will definitely return soon!

We had a super holiday. The peace and quiet were just what we were looking for and your villa was lovely. The little finishing touches, care & attention you put in makes it a bit special. We were also surprised to find that Lanzarote had not changed too much in the several years we had not been, it is quite refreshing nowadays not to be surrounded by high rise and we certainly think it is our favorite Canary Isle. - A personal welcome! You will be greeted at the villa on your arrival by the owners. This is so that we can show you around the villa, explain how everything works and answer any questions you may have.

Next to the pool there is a large room which has a built in BBQ, fridge, sink and also now includes a full size table tennis table, a variety of pool toys and lilos etc; there is also a playpen/travel cot where babies can have an afternoon snooze, out of the sun, yet still be near the rest of the family. Please find measurements of pool below; the depth of the shallow end is depth at the bottom of the steps.:

There is one long step in the hallway and a shallow step down into the Moroccan bedroom.
